Allison Martin is the costumier behind Harmony Threads. She began her design and manufacturing career in 1999. Always believing you should sew what you know and love, she started in the infant apparel business. As her children grew, so did her interests and skills. Over the years, the focus has gone from women's and children's clothing to performance costumes.

Both she and her daughter are involved in the circus arts and constantly test products on themselves and their fellow performers. She understands the unusual needs of the aerial, acro, and contortion performer and is also experienced in dance costuming.
